This Privacy Policy explains how FragBin collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the service.

Information we collect

• Paste content you submit (text and optional metadata like title or language).
• Optional password hashes and edit keys associated with your paste.
• Basic usage logs such as IP addresses, timestamps and User-Agent for abuse prevention and analytics.
• Email addresses if you subscribe to the newsletter.

How we use information

We use the information to store and serve pastes, prevent abuse, and operate the newsletter. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and deletion

Retention depends on configuration and paste settings. You can delete a paste via the edit interface if you have the edit key. We may also remove content that violates our policies.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data, including storing password hashes rather than plaintext passwords and limiting access to administrative interfaces. However, no service can guarantee absolute security.
